The EMP 37-07946-014 is a complete fuel water separator kit for any marine fuel system with 1/4" inlet and outlet ports. It is a universal fit, meaning it is not tied to a specific OEM application and works across a wide range of outboard, inboard, and sterndrive setups that use the standard 1/4" port size.
The kit includes everything needed for a full installation:
EMP 35-06053 high-flow aluminum filter head with 1" thread
10-micron filter element
2 brass plugs
The aluminum filter head is compatible with EMP 35-06040 and 35-37803 replacement filters, so sourcing a fresh filter element down the road is straightforward. The 10-micron rating catches fine water droplets and particulates before they reach the engine, which is exactly the kind of protection a marine fuel system needs, especially in humid conditions or when running fuel that has been sitting in a tank for a while.
The 1" thread on the filter head is a standard size that works with a wide range of mounting brackets and filter bases. If you are building out a new fuel system or replacing an aging separator assembly, this kit gives you a clean starting point with quality components already matched to work together.
