With the Autowbrake, you can get emergency braking or general braking from your trailer brakes automatically. This means that, unlike time-delay controllers - which send the same amount of preset power to your trailer brakes every time - proportional controllers are able to adapt to every braking situation differently. As you approach your stop your trailer will gradually brake in the same manner as your tow vehicle. Just set the initial power level, and you're good to go. (Not designed for motorcycles and bikes). Unlike other brake controllers, once the Autowbrake is mounted on your trailer and connected to your vehicle, there is no sync up necessary to the key fob. When the Autowbrake senses another brake controller, the Autowbrake will go into sleep mode automatically. The key fob is not essential to normal operation. The key fob is used for a pre-travel test and also to manually override the Autowbrake’s automatic braking functions to stop trailer sway conditions.

The CURT Echo under-dash trailer brake controller is a Bluetooth-enabled device that wirelessly connects to your smartphone and allows you to control and monitor all trailer brake activity right from your device. The Echo brake controller brings your towing experience into the modern age. Powered by Bluetooth, it wirelessly connects to your smartphone without any extra modules required. Simply download the Smart Control app on your Apple iOS or Android OS device, plug the Echo into your vehicle and you're ready to start towing. The app allows you to create multiple trailer profiles for different towing situations. The CURT Echo under-dash brake controller operates with a tri-axis circuit for smooth stops going up or down a hill, and it is able to operate up to two to eight trailer brakes at a time (one to four axles). It is also compatible with cruise control and ABS brakes.
