Whitecap S-1775 Under Platform Ladders
The Whitecap S-1775 is a periscope-style under-platform ladder built for swim platforms and transoms where a fixed ladder would get in the way when the boat is underway. The periscope mechanism lets the ladder retract up and out of the water when not in use, then deploy straight down when you need it. No folding arms to fumble with, no ladder dragging through the water at speed.
In its deployed configuration, the ladder provides 4 steps with 8-7/16 inches between each step, giving you a comfortable, consistent stride whether you are climbing back aboard from the water or helping someone else up. The ladder section measures 2 feet 9-3/8 inches in length with a step width of 1 foot 1-3/4 inches, which is wide enough to get a solid footing even with wet feet. The storage bar extends to 3 feet 2-1/8 inches when fully raised.
The backbar measures 4 inches wide and 2-3/4 inches deep, and the ladder body is 2-1/16 inches deep overall. The bar width at the ladder section is 3-5/16 inches, and each step is 5-1/4 inches long. A mounting template is included in the product images to help with installation placement before you drill.
