Some sounders have internal terminal blocks to which these bare wires can be connected, but many CHIRP fishfinders and sounders use brand-specific connectors.Gemeco has introduced a new line of in-line splices that can be used to connect CHIRP transducers to the correct connector for a given application. These splices are available in two models, one for wires with up to 6 conductors and one for wires with up to 10 conductors. Both models have waterproof gland fittings rated to IP67. NMEA 2000 versions output standard NMEA 2000 data formats and have an NMEA 2000 drop cable attached, ready to plug into a T-connector on a network backbone. These transducers are powered by the network. Smart depth transducers use the 235kHz frequency so as not to interfere with fishfinder transducers. Note that there are no NMEA fishfinder transducers. Fishfinder transducers produce a large volume of analog data that cannot be converted to NMEA format. Watch VideoAirmar DST810-BV-N2 TransducersDST810 Smart™ Multisensor 23kHz Bronze NMEA 2000® Transducer - N2KDepth, Speed-Through-Water, Water Temperature, Boat Attitude! The DST810 Smart Multisensor, featuring the new Gen2 paddlewheel and AIRMAR's CAST™ app, delivers a powerful combination of best-in-class speed performance and a simple, reliable way to calibrate accurate speed using your wireless device. The Gen2 paddlewheel delivers industry-leading start-up speed-through-water data below 0.3 knots and is linear at 0.6 knots, maintaining accurate performance up to 45 knots. The DST810 and CAST app provides a simple, consistent way to calibrate speed through the water. The free CAST app delivers calibration options that, until now, were only available through expensive PC-based software. In addition to water temperature, depth, and upgraded 5.7 Hz (5X per second) speed-through-water output with improved speed resolution, the DST810 features an integrated attitude sensor for heel and trim data. This information, combined with Airmar’s powerful and simple CAST app, makes heel-compensated speed calibration across multiple heel angles and speed ranges fast and intuitive, and is independent of the onboard instruments.Features: Smoother Speed – 5.7 Hz speed output (5X per second) for visibly smoother speed-through-water reporting and faster data for better decision-making when every second counts. Integrated Attitude Sensor – for heel and trim and used in advanced speed calibration. Wireless connectivity to AIRMAR's CAST app has new user-friendly benefits: Calibrate the DST810 in a simple, intuitive way from your mobile device. Conduct basic and advanced heel-compensated speed calibrations for improved speed-through-water outputs across the speed range. Advanced speed calibration allows for manual speed entries for multiple heel angles and up to 10 speeds, formerly only possible through expensive PC software. Ultra-responsive speed begins as low as 0.3 knots and becomes linear at 0.6 knots. Speed-through-water readings stay accurate and smooth through 45 knots. The DT800 is a low-profile, retractable, thru-hull sensor that computes accurate depth and temperature data and sends it to any NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000® display. The DT800 operates at a frequency of 235 kHz and can run simultaneously with other Airmar 50/200 kHz transducers on-board with no interference. The broadband ceramic delivers depth readings to 183 m (600'), as well as accurate shallow-water readings in as little as 500 mm (1.6'). Available in fixed 0°, 12°, or 20° tilt, the DT800 is perfect for power and sailboat applications. It is sold with a choice of rugged housings— plastic, bronze, or stainless steel—to accommodate any vessel type or hull material. These low-profile housings do not affect hull performance and will provide accurate readings at high speeds.Airmar's Smart™ Sensors have embedded microelectronics—the transducer element and signal processor are only millimeters apart. The signal from the depth transducer is processed right inside the sensor itself. All that is needed to receive depth and temperature data is a single cable into a compatible device or display. Because the ceramic is tilted inside the housing, the transducer beam is oriented straight down, resulting in strong bottom echo returns and accurate depth readings. The retractable housing with a self-closing valve reduces water flow into the vessel when the transducer is removed for cleaning.Smart™ Sensor Features Broadband ceramic available with 0°, 12° and 20° tilt options Enhanced depth performance Maximum Depth Range: 180M (594’) Minimum range 0.5M (1.6’) Urethane face provides better sensitivity Excellent high-speed performance Fixed 12° tilt for 8° to 15° deadrise NMEA 2000 output 100 W RMS power Frequency: 235 kHz Cone: 12° All models have depth and temperature 235 kHz eliminates interference with fishfinders Retractable insert provides ease of serviceability Usable Shaft Length: 57mm (2.25”) 6M(19.8”) NMEA 2000® devicenet cable and connector 51mm (2”) housing Blanking plug included Accommodates maximum hull thicknesses 54 mm (2 1/8”) Accommodates minimum hull thicknesses 6.3 mm (0.25”) Normalized SKU: DT812PV235N2

The DX900+ uses electromagnetic technology to accurately measure dual-axis speed through water plus immediately calculate leeway travel. Paddlewheels need cleaning and only measure speed longitudinally. The DX900+ measures water flow at 360° and will immediately deliver the leeway data to your instrument. There are no moving parts to clean or maintain. Performance sailors, racers, or long-distance cruisers will immediately see the benefits of the accuracy and reliability of the DX900+.The DX900+ is available as a Speed and Water-temperature sensor.Features: Electromagnetic dual-axis speed, and water temperature with no moving parts Measures transverse and longitudinal speed that instantaneously calculates leeway angle and speed through water with no latency Connects and shares data wirelessly with AIRMAR’s CAST™ app. Perfect for displaying performance data on phones or tablets, plus makes calibration fast and easy. Outputs heel and trim The sensing pins in contact with the water are made from very high-quality alloy, allowing very stable measurements and high resistance to corrosion.
