The EMP 35-54600 is a 6-gallon portable remote fuel tank compatible with virtually any outboard that uses an external fuel supply, including motors from Mercury, Johnson, Evinrude, Honda, Suzuki, Tohatsu, and Yamaha. It replaces Mercury OEM part numbers 859065A3 and 1200-8M0054600.
The tank features a stackable design with interlocking geometry so multiple tanks can be secured together with a strap, which is handy for longer trips or tight storage situations. Construction uses a mono-layer structure that eliminates delamination risk, and the tank includes a built-in 5% vapor volume expansion chamber to handle fuel expansion safely. A barrier treatment provides strong resistance to fuel permeation, and the tank is built to take impact without cracking or splitting.
It meets USCG and ABYC standards and is EPA approved.
