The Perko 1428G00BLK is a 35-degree angled-neck EPA and CARB-compliant fuel deck fill in black polymer, designed for 1-1/2 in. fuel fill hose connections on gasoline-powered boats. It meets USCG safety standards for diurnal emissions control under 40 CFR Parts 9, 60, 80 et al., covering boats built or refitted after July 31, 2011. The 35-degree angled neck is the key difference from the straight-neck 1429 model and is the right choice when the fuel fill hose needs to exit at an angle due to deck thickness, tank placement, or limited clearance below the deck surface.
The flip-top cap includes a vacuum pressure relief valve that allows the fuel tank to breathe without releasing raw fuel vapors into the bilge or atmosphere. An integral tank vent with flame arrestor is built into the fitting, eliminating the need for a separate vent fitting and reducing hull penetrations in the fuel system. No ground wire is required, simplifying installation compared to older metal deck fills that needed bonding to the fuel system ground.
The angled neck is 2-7/16 in. long and connects to a 1-1/2 in. fuel fill hose. The integral vent port accepts a 5/8 in. vent hose. Mounting uses #10 screws. Available in black polymer.
