First Choice Marine is proud to carry Solas Props along with many other top brands including Michigan Wheel, Turning Point, Mercury Marine and others. Our Prop Finder is an easy to use tool to select the right Solas Prop for your engine application and performance requirements.

What information do I need to use a prop finder?
Most prop finders (depending on brand) require that you have the engine manufacturer, the horsepower and model and the year of the engine to locate the correct prop for the engine.

In addition, you will need to make decisions on whether you want aluminum or stainless, a right or left hand rotation prop and 3 or 4 blades. You will also need to determine the diameter (measure from center to edge of one blade and multiply by two) and the desired pitch.

What if I am unsure of my engine information?
Contacting the engine manufacturer with the engine serial number should get you the information you need in regards to model information and the year of the engine.

What if I don’t know if I need a 3- or 4-blade or don’t know the desired pitch?

Where can I locate the hardware I need for my prop?
