The Maxwell 4376 Clutch Nut is the OEM replacement part for the RC8 Freedom rope/chain windlass in the 500 and 800 series. It's a direct fit, no modifications needed, and gets your windlass back to doing what it does best: dropping and retrieving your anchor without a fight.
The Freedom series windlasses are a popular choice for mid-size cruising boats, and keeping them in good working order comes down to having the right parts on hand.
