Cipa 11140 SafetyCIPA's Boating Safety Mirror is for water skiing and general boating safety. It features a fully adjustable anti-scratch, quick mount plastic bracket that fits square windshields up to 3/4 of an inch thick. The Boating Safety Mirror is designed to universally mount above or below the windshield frame, offering maximum rear view with a few simple adjustments. The ability to mount in the down position makes this mirror perfect for boats with walk-thru windshields. The mirror head on the Boating Safety Mirror measures 4.25 x 8 inches and features a convex acrylic safety lens for wide angle viewing and added safety. Each package includes two different anti-scratch mounting plates. One for standard thickness windshield frames (5/8 inch to 3/4 inch), and the other for frames thinner than 5/8 inches. Mirrors are made with non-corrosive materials and are salt spray tested.

HotSpot mirrors may be placed anywhere you wish but are typically placed on the bottom outside corner of the original mirror. The desired placement varies from person to person. To find the placement that is right for you, start by placing a piece of folded tape on the back of the HotSpot and sticking it onto your OE mirror where you think you might want it. Then sit in your car and look through the HotSpot. Keep adjusting the placement until it suits your needs.
