Daiwa FRSW10000 Fishing Reels22 Free Swimmer Bite'N' Run 10000 Spinning Reel - FRSW10000A return to the foray of Bite’N’Run reels with Daiwa’s new FREE SWIMMER BR. Bite’N’Run is a key technology for keen live or dead bait anglers allowing fish to take baits under minimal line tension to ensure a solid hookset is achieved. Designed in collaboration between Daiwa USA, Daiwa Australia, Daiwa New Zealand, and alongside Japanese engineers, FREE SWIMMER BR is a product five years in the making and a testament to Daiwa’s commitment to providing the best products to suit local conditions.Anglers will set the Bite’N’Run tension by adjusting the dial on the bottom of the reel, a wide range can be set to suit unweighted baits for finicky feeders such as whiting, up to quite strong settings suitable to live baiting large baits for hard-fighting predators like Kingfish & Mackeral. FREE SWIMMER BR is built off a strong & sturdy carbon composite frame and Air Rotor. The internals has been carefully sealed through careful design and implementation of rubber seals to make FREESWIMMER a true Saltwater Bite’N’Run reel. Careful attention to detail was paid throughout the design and prototype stages to make FREE SWIMMER BR capable of handling even the largest of New Zealand Kingfish & Snapper. FREE SWIMMER BR is equipped with a host of regular Daiwa technologies including Air Rotor, ATD Drag, Tough Digigear & more to round out the best-performing Bite’N’Run reel Daiwa has ever produced.BITE N RUNBite’N’Run is a key technology for keen live or dead bait anglers allowing fish to take baits under minimal line tension to ensure a solid hook set is achieved. The rear drag can be easily adjusted to provide optimum tension for each scenario.AIR ROTORLighter, stronger, and more balanced than any rotor system that’s come before, ‘Air Rotor’ delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function and delivers the ultimate line roller support. Made from Zaion and featuring a redesigned arch that disperses pressure to the lower section of the rotor to reduce stressing and flexing, the design is further enhanced with a hollowed-out construction reducing weight while increasing reel sensitivity and rotational balance.ATD DRAGDaiwa’s Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag starts up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.TOUGH DIGIGEARFurther evolution of its predecessor Digigear, Tough Digigear is our brand new digitally designed, machine-cut gearing system that ensures ultimate gear precision, rotational smoothness, and strength. Watch VideoDaiwa FRSWEX10000 Fishing ReelsFree Swimmer EX 10000 Bite & Run Spinning ReelFree Swimmer EX features an automatic Bite N’ Run clutch at the base of the body, allowing anglers to instantly disengage the spool so the line can peel off with little or no resistance while the bail is closed. Simply pull down on the lever to place the reel in free-spool mode and flip it back instantly to reengage when a fish grabs your bait. A small tension control knob at the back of the reel makes it easy to adjust spool tension to control the speed at which line plays out. With the Free Swimmer EX, though, it’s easy to cast energetic live bait away from the vessel, so it can swim freely where you’re most likely to draw a strike. Fishing live-lining Gulf Coast hardtails or sardines, feeding big baits to tarpon in the Florida Keys, targeting huge cobia in the mid-Atlantic region, or swimming big bunkers in Northeast waters for cow stripers, Daiwa’s Free Swimmer EX provides that extra edge.Using the tension control, anglers can moderate the speed at which the offerings swim, slowing overly active live bait to keep them centered in the strike zone. The ability to free-line with a closed bail also adds an extra degree of safety since anglers never have to keep a finger on a braided line to hold the bait in the perfect position.Features: ATD Drag - Daiwa’s Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start-up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and, combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System, results in a smoother drag from the initial hook-up. Digigear - Daiwa’s first generation of digitally engineered gear design ensures a perfect mesh between ultra-tough drive gears and pinion gears for optimized speed, power, durability, and smoothness. Machined Aluminum Handle - Ergonomically correct and screws easily into the body. Metal Ball Knob - Providing maximum contact between handle knob and hand, ball knobs are designed for optimal balance, rotation, and functionality. Daiwa FEGLT1000D Fishing ReelsFuego LT 1000 Spinning ReelFuego LT has a ZAION V carbon-fiber body, not the nylon-based plastic in other manufacturers’ reels at this price point. The new Fuego stands alone in the marketplace at this price. You also get some weight reduction (3%–5%) as a result of this material design change.Fuego also uses an Airdrive Rotor, which reduces quite a bit of weight. Daiwa also incorporated a solid Airdrive Bail versus a tubular design. The reason for that is that the metal Daiwa uses is very strong, rigid, and doesn’t bend—yet it’s thinner and lighter. The goal was to reduce the weight of the rotation, which reduces the weight of the reel as well. It also makes it easier to turn the handle.FeaturesAir BailDaiwa’s innovative bail design features a hollow tubular stainless steel bail that delivers maximum rigidity and strength with minimum weight. Featuring a smooth, protrusion-free design and construction, the line easily slides unencumbered along the Air Bail towards the line roller for trouble-free line control.Air RotorLighter, stronger, and more balanced than any rotor system that’s come before, ‘Air Rotor’ delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function and delivers the ultimate reel sensitivity and rotational balance.Tough DigigearA further evolution of its predecessor, Digigear, Tough Digigear is our brand new digitally designed, machine-cut gearing system that ensures ultimate gear precision, rotational smoothness, and strength.Zaion V Body A new generation of lightweight Daiwa’s resin and carbon material.
