The EMP 1300-09105 is a carburetor repair kit with a float for carbureted Yamaha outboards from the late 1980s through 2000. The kit includes the float along with the gaskets, needle, seat, and other internal components needed for a complete carburetor rebuild. A worn or saturated float causes incorrect fuel level in the bowl, leading to rich running, fuel overflow, hard starting, or rough idle. Replacing the float as part of a full carb rebuild, rather than just the gaskets and needle is the correct approach when the carburetor is already off the engine.
This kit replaces Sierra part number 18-7291 and Yamaha part number 6H1-W0093-00-00. EMP manufactures it to OEM specifications for correct fit and fuel compatibility on the listed Yamaha applications.
