The EMP 1300-01136 is a carburetor gasket kit for Mercury and Mariner V6 outboards from 135 to 225 horsepower, covering model years 1976 to 1990. These are carbureted V6 outboards from an era when Mercury built some of its most recognizable high-output engines, and finding correct carburetor gaskets for them is not always straightforward. This kit provides the gaskets needed for carburetor service on the listed applications, sealing the carburetor body joints and preventing air leaks that cause lean running, rough idle, and hard starting.
This kit replaces Mercury part numbers 6452, 6452B, and 6026, and crosses with Sierra 18-7005, GLM 40420, and Mallory 9-37300. EMP manufactures it to OEM specifications for correct material, thickness, and bore dimensions on the listed applications.
