EMP 26-01024 Engine Gaskets The MerCruiser Bravo sterndrive is one of the most widely used sterndrive systems on the water, and the Bravo I, II, and III each have their own strengths depending on the application. What they share is a common need for properly maintained seals throughout the drive. The seals in a sterndrive are doing constant work, keeping gear lube inside the drive and water outside of it, and doing that reliably through the heat, vibration, and load cycles that come with regular use on the water. When seals start to go, the signs are usually subtle at first: a slight sheen of gear lube in the water behind the boat, milky gear lube at the next service, or a slow drop in gear lube level between changes. None of those are emergencies on their own, but left unaddressed, they become expensive ones. The EMP 26-01024 Seal Kit is designed for MerCruiser Bravo I, Bravo II, and Bravo III sterndrives and includes the seals needed for a proper reseal of the drive.
