Ezy-Glide Replacement Cables fit all models of Ezy-Stik® Steering Systems: Ezy-Stik® II 830, Ezy-Stik® II 840, or Ezy-Stik® III 870 systems. Ezy-Glide can manufacture any length cable that you need in 1/2 foot (6-inch) increments, and they are available as a special order item. Cables are stocked in even-foot increments, including: 11-, 12-, 13-, and 14-foot lengths.

Replacement Cable part numbers include the cable length.
EXAMPLE
Replacement Part Number = RC-1200
Part Number Breakdown:

RC = Replacement Cable
-
1200 = Cable length in 1/2 foot measurement i.e. 12 feet
Other Examples: 11' cable=RC-1100, 12' cable=RC-1200, 13' cable=RC-1300
DETERMINING Cable Length
REPLACING AN EXISTING CABLE WITH THE SAME LENGTH
Look on the black cable casing near the engine end of the cable for a stamp containing cable length similar to one of the photos below.
Measuring Cable Length
MEASURE AND ADD 8 INCHES
Measure from the center of the helm position to the center of the engine and add 8” to this measurement.
ROUND UP YOUR MEASUREMENT
If your measurement falls exactly on a 6-inch increment (e.g., 12' or 12'-6"), order that exact length. If your measurement falls between 6-inch increments, round up to the nearest half-foot.
Example: A 12'-2" measurement should order a 12.5' cable.
