The EMP 300-02404 Tilt and Trim Motor is designed for Mercury and Mariner V6 outboards in the 135 to 250 horsepower range, covering model years 1995 to 2002. This motor uses a 2-wire configuration with male bullet connectors, and verifying that your existing wiring matches this connector type before ordering is an important step. Using the wrong connector configuration requires additional wiring work that is easily avoided by confirming fitment upfront.
This motor is a direct replacement for Mercury part numbers 828708, 878265A1, and 878265A4, and also crosses with Sierra 18-6773, API Marine PT486NM, ARCO 6250, Mallory 9-18204, and MES T1082M.
