The EMP 300-02414 is a tilt and trim reservoir kit for MerCruiser sterndrives equipped with one-bolt type Oildyne pumps, covering model years 1983 to 2005. The reservoir holds the hydraulic fluid supply for the tilt and trim system. A cracked, leaking, or contaminated reservoir causes fluid loss that leads to slow trim response, incomplete trim range, or a system that will not hold position under load. This kit includes the reservoir along with the gasket, bolt, screen, and cap needed for a complete replacement.
Fitment covers MerCruiser R, MR, Alpha One, Alpha Gen II, Bravo, and Blackhawk drives with one-bolt type Oildyne pumps. Verify your pump type before ordering, as this kit is specific to the one-bolt Oildyne configuration. It replaces Mercury part number 18525A1 and crosses with Sierra 18-6771, API Marine VB500N-2 and RES500E, ARCO M525, Mallory 9-18611, and MES RSV01.
