The VHF 725 is a full-featured, five-watt VHF marine-band handheld radio that's totally waterproof. GARMIN made the VHF 725 waterproof so that constant saltwater spray or an accidental dunk in the bait well won't dampen its performance. Like the VHF 720, you don't need two hands to operate this unit. The radio's unique ''knobless'' design makes it simple to adjust the volume with one hand, even in choppy water.

Additionally, a backlit display and keypad make it a breeze to operate the VHF 725 in the dark, while all of the unit's key functions-including squelch, volume adjustment, channel selection, weather alert, and Tri-Watch monitoring-are accessible by the waterproof keypad.
