In 1990, Ozark Mountain Industries, Inc. was born as the brainchild of its original owner who sold boat-lift parts to small mom-and-pop boat-lift manufacturers in Lake of the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake in Missouri. Since then, it has grown to be the oldest and largest manufacturer of floating boat-lift parts and accessories in the Midwest. In 2008, amid market challenges, the company was acquired by Agua Holdings, LLC shortening its name to OMI - the name for which it is recognized in the Midwest.

Serial entrepreneur, Stephen Foster, saw an opportunity for the company to grow the company to new heights. He brings an unorthodox approach inspiring innovative thinking and design to consumer facing products. Stephen garnered many awards and recognition during his tenure in both technology and manufacturing industries.
