DL winches are engineered to offer many distinct advantages not available on other winch lines. A wide variety of hand winches are available for most hand winch applications. You can choose from standard ratchet winches in either single (600-1400#) or two speed (1600-3500#) models. Ratchet winches are available in models from 600 lbs capacity to 3,500 lbs. capacity. D-L winches are built for multipurpose hauling, pulling, and material handling operations and are ideal for boat trailer and wheeled equipment applications. Base plates fit BIA Standard mounting hole pattern for easy installation. Heavy duty steel handles have molded grips. D-L ratchet winches are not recommended for lifting applications. For lifting, use a self locking winch. D-L winches are not to be used as hoists for lifting, supporting or transporting people or for loads over areas where people could be present. The winches in this catalog are not for movement of humans. NOTE - Rated Capacity is based on direct line pull on the third layer of line on the drum. Capacity is reduced as the line builds up on the drum.
