Cipa’s marine customers benefit from their initial focus on development and manufacture of rearview mirrors for the European automotive industry as a French based company. Later they developed additional mirror lines for Chrysler and Ford. In 1985 CIPA-USA, located in Michigan, has manufactured products for an international market continuing to make Cipa a name associated with quality, innovation and with a track record of delivering on-time product.
The year 1987 saw Cipa move into the marine industry with initial in-roads in the tournament ski boat mirror area. Today their innovative mirrors provide safe vision for boaters and PWC users throughout the marine industry. Their distinguished placement as the only company world-wide with a full line of mirrors for all watercraft types as kept this company with eighty-five year old plus roots at the forefront today.
